I’m Josh, the BBQ nerd behind The Pampered Pig BBQ. After spending years in the corporate world, sitting behind a computer, I decided I wanted more. After always having a love of eating BBQ, being away from the corporate grind left me with lots of time to fill. What started as buying a smoker to pass the time turned into a love and passion for everything that goes in to making great BBQ. From fire management, developing rubs and sauces, to butchering meat, it immediately lit a spark- this is what I was meant to do.

After 4 years of being a Pitmaster at Toronto’s top BBQ joint, it’s time to bring my own flavours and smoked meat on to the Toronto BBQ scene. From working in Toronto to being down in Texas smoking meat at Troubadour Festival and Texas Monthly BBQ Fest,  I’ve rubbed elbows with the best of the best in the BBQ community.

At The Pampered Pig, I’ve blended all that knowledge and passion for BBQ into every smokey bite. It’s not just about the food- it’s about the community, and giving y’all an experience that lasts way beyond the last bite.
